THE PLOT:
A super secret giant robot project has crashed on a remote island. A team of scientist and Seals go in to retrieve them,
but the crash has activated the robots and now they're on a search and destroy mission for anyone on the island and a way
off the island.
Bad timing for a team of criminals who are searching for long lost stolen loot on that exact same island, so soldier and
criminal must join forces to stay alive.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Okay, this has an impressive cast of Sci-Fi greats, several Star Trek faces appear in this as well as Hudson Leick of Xena
fame. Even though I love Hudson, I was somewhat unimpressed by her whiny character in this. But that's not her fault, that's
how the character was written. The concept works and I do enjoy the story, so all and all I give it a solid 8 STARS.

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd, the whole concept works, Hudson's character was slightly disappointing. I can't imagine her as the damsel
in distress type anymore then I can Rene O'Connor or Sarah Michelle Gellar. But it's a clever movie with a great cast and
it does entertain. 7 STARS.

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ EFFECTS (The robot drone effects are impressive, but it makes you wonder how could they walk on such skinny legs?)
+ STORY (Basic but works.)
+ CAST (A killer cast from sci-fi and fantasy royalty.)
+ CHARACTERS (Most of the characters work, some don't.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- GOON CHARACTERS (Just because he's a criminal doesn't mean he has to be a girlfriend beating jerk.)
- HUDSON LEICK (Neither of us can picture her as a damsel in distress type who takes abuse from a jerk boyfriend.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you don't like massive machines killing people then this isn't the movie for you.)
