THE PLOT:
Vince and Ernie are a couple of cops who are hiding the biggest secret of all of history, that all the dinosaurs didn't die
out so long ago, some evolved into humanoid form and are hiding in plain sight for fear of humans who didn't have understanding
for dinokind in the past.
Now someone is out to tip the playing field in the dinos favor and go back to the days of the hunt. These two misfits
must discover the secret and discovers secrets about each other.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Didn't think much of the characters or the story, it might have been based on a series of dime novels but I don't think it
translated well into three dimensions very well. There are serious character and story issues. I was hoping to see them
more in dinoform. 6 STARS.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
THe cast does a great job with what was given to them and the effects what there were of them was good. But I can't get past
that these so-called evolved dinosaurs don't act civilized at all to me, any human who learns that dinosaurs still exist must
die? That's barbaric not civilized, it's the 21st century we are more open to other things, we wouldn't be grabbing pitchforks
and torches. Besides, with all these advances which is way beyond human tech you'd think they'd find a way of blocking or
erasing the memories so they wouldn't have to murder people. 3 STARS
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ EFFECTS (What there was of them worked.)
+ DIALOG (There is some clever dialog.)
+ ACTING (The cast does a great job with what they had to work with.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- CHARACTER (Didn't like several characters.)
- STORY (Never really explained how they survived in the first place.)
- KILL ALL HUMANS (That learn their secret, not very civilized if you ask me.)
...AND FINALLY...
- FAN BASED (If you aren't big on the books, then you won't like this.)
