THE PLOT:
A man who spent his entire life in the jungle travels via boat to discover who he is and what happened to
his parents. During this journey of discovery he discovers a shocking truth, that the world is under attack by demonic
creatures called Orgs and is recruited to become the Red Wild Force Ranger to help save the world.
CHRISTOPHER'S OPINION:
Now over the years I've heard die hard fans of the Power Rangers shows say this is the WORST Power Rangers
ever and I so disagree on that statement. I think the acting was pretty good, the story was VERY close to the original
Japanese Sentai show Gaoranger and the monsters we're way cool and there is a surprise or two worth watching. All and
all I give it 8 Stars.
WAYNE'S OPINION:
I agree with Christopher on this one. The stories work, the characters work and it's always cool to
stay fateful to the source material. But like a lot of Sentai shows like Power Rangers is does get a little repeditive
story wise and if you aren't big on Power Rangers then this isn't for you. Eight Stars as well. :)
ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ ORGS (The Orgs are pretty cool looking monsters.)
+ CAST (In our opinion the cast does a great job.)
+ STORIES (The stories work.)
+ FATEFUL (It stays fateful to the original Sentai show.)
+ NOT DUMBED DOWN (The story wasn't dumbed down for children to hide them from the real world like ALOT
of kid shows in THIS country does.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES):
- REPEDITIVE (A lot of the episodes ended the same way. The only REAL flaw with Sentai shows.)
...AND FINALLY...
- NOT FOR EVERYONE (If you aren't a big fan of the Power Rangers in general then this IS NOT for you.)
